I'm waffling on this one because while I like travel memoirs, the spiritual part is a bit of a turn-off for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6277775467976733660.post-42717458406632885812009-10-20T15:35:51.587-04:002009-10-20T15:35:51.587-04:00Nice review.

I'm interested in what you said about Ann's struggle with depression, as this is something I struggle with too (although luckily it's fairly mild in my case). It's a shame that you were left feeling like Ann hadn't been as truthful about it as you would have liked.avisannschildhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12486477882148877317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6277775467976733660.post-64322202696571201342009-10-20T12:39:52.808-04:002009-10-20T12:39:52.808-04:00Excellent review, Lilly! I really like it - it has a "reach out and grab you" feel to it. The story itself sounds like an absorbing one. I am going to have to check it out - especially after reading your thoughts on the depression aspect of it. I truly love and appreciate how you share part of yourself with your reviews. It makes them so much more powerful and meaningful.Aprilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02026539637409766437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6277775467976733660.post-84152628617345700732009-10-20T11:43:48.296-04:002009-10-20T11:43:48.296-04:00Awesome review! I really want to read this, as I am focused on books that deal with mother/daughter relationships right now (I guess due to the difficult time I am having with my own mom these days). I'm adding it to my wish list. :)Missy B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10291867551001087415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6277775467976733660.post-9832026628670008722009-10-20T11:30:37.155-04:002009-10-20T11:30:37.155-04:00Your review was fabulous Lilly.
