Here he is!!!
Even though it is against my policy of not posting the photos of my children online, I am going to post these two to show off my little baby boy (and also to prove that he does indeed exist lol!). As an update, I actually started reading again and the book I am enjoying tremendously now is The Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah which was published in February. How do I manage to read amidst the crying, diaper changing, sleepless nights and taking care of my wonderful 11-year-old girl? I read while I'm nursing. Since I don't have to hold a bottle, my hand is free to turn the pages. That's that for now.

Oh Lily, he's adorable! His little face is so full of expression even at his young, young age! Thank you so much for posting photos! I love that he's smiling in the one with your husband, how cute are daddy & sons together! I'm happy for you that you've found some time to read - while you're nursing is ingenious! Otherwise I cannot imagine tearing yourself away from your precious baby boy! I am also impressed that you don't fall asleep reading - when I am tired it's hard to keep my eyes open after a few pages of reading!

ReplyDeleteI remember reading loads whilst feeding my little ones. It is great to be able to spend so much time reading, guilt free, as you know you are looking after your little one at the same time. It is quite sad when they get too big for that and you lose all that quality reading time!

When you read and nurse, try reading out loud. It is strangely relaxing.
Enjoy that back of the neck baby sweet smell.
